South Central Bank is pleased to announce the graduation of Alex Deutsch from the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin-Madison (GSB), a 25-month advanced bank management program. Deutsch joined South Central Bank in 2011 as the retail branch manager at the West Town office, and recently moved to the Main Office to work in commercial lending as Assistant Vice President.
Instruction at the GSB takes place during two-week resident sessions for three consecutive summers, along with comprehensive study between summer resident sessions. GSB students are required to complete six research projects, on-campus coursework, multiple exams and a bank management simulation.
GSB is the only graduate banking in the nation that relies on its alumni, Banker Advisory Board and Academic Committee to offer a comprehensive course of study that focuses on meeting the changing needs of today’s bank manager. The curriculum reflects current trends impacting the financial services industry, and prepares students to take on significant roles within their organizations.
“I am very thankful to South Central Bank for the opportunity to enroll in and complete this program,” said Deutsch.
South Central Bank is proud to congratulate Deutsch on his recent accomplishment of graduating from the GSB program!
